About the Program

This skills-based program explores the science of resilience and provides strategies to help prevent physical, mental and emotional burnout. Participants explore the common traits that resilient people use to overcome pressures, changes and setbacks and learn how to apply the skills in their own lives. It includes evidence-based activities such as mindfulness, that can be used to build mental fitness in everyday life. Aspect Group also offers a workshop for leaders that focuses on building and leading resilient teams.

Some practical tips to maybe take some time, put in two full stops in your day. 10 or 20 little commas in your day. And then to practise being mindful, not to multitask, but to unitask and take life one step, one moment at a time. We get so anxious about what’s going to happen in the future. Will I win or will I lose? Will this go like this? Will it go like this? And we stopped enjoying the unfolding of life as it’s happening. So just to enjoy life in the moment as it’s happening. The future will look after itself and we certainly can’t change the past by going over it again. So just recognise the futility of that, but making conscious decisions, living consciously in this moment now, is a pretty good recipe for wellbeing and happiness.
