About the Program

This practical program helps managers and leaders to recognise and respond to mental health issues in the workplace. By teaching your leaders the appropriate skills, we help them become more confident in managing workplace mental health issues within their teams and amongst their colleagues. This increases your organisation’s preventative capabilities and supports a psychologically healthy workplace culture.

Eliza Oakley, Workplace Mental Health Specialist
The benefits of a psychologically healthy workplace are manifold. We see staff increasing engagement. We see a happier workplace with far less turnover in staff. We see people wanting to contribute and step up and help each other. And what it starts creating is a workplace where work is being done more efficiently, more effectively. We see gossip dropped because it’s a genuinely transparent environment that we’re working in. Which talks to the safe workplace that we are required to provide people, all our employees and staff. The other benefits are once we have initiatives running and we start getting our employees involved. Whether it’s as workplace champions or in any other initiatives around mental health. That their engagement will also bring their colleagues with them. And they start taking on the leadership role and then encouraging self-leadership within their peer group and within their team. So it has a huge flow-on effect. Having good leaders in our workplaces around mental health-
